This project explores the idea of time as reflection, resulting in a pendant clock that functions both as a mirror and a dynamic timepiece. Inspired by Zyranna Zateli’s phrase “time is a mirror,” the design uses layered, semi-transparent spherical segments that rotate independently to indicate seconds, minutes and hours. These softly tinted layers interact with a central reflective metal sphere, creating constantly shifting reflections, overlaps and color blends. The result is a poetic and ambient experience of time—one that invites users to not just read time, but to observe its passing through movement, light and reflection in space.
