In this project, we tackled the challenge of helping master’s students reduce procrastination and manage their Final Master Project more effectively. Our team designed a behaviour change intervention based on the Triple Diamond method, combining Self-Determination Theory and the Transtheoretical Model to support students in breaking large tasks into small, achievable milestones. Through an app prototype and a mix of physical and digital tools, we explored how planning, feedback, and social accountability could boost focus, motivation, and autonomy. The goal was to build a supportive routine that could lead to long-term behavioural change and reduce the stress of open-ended projects like the FMP.

Contribution to Development
This was the first time I was introduced to behavioural design theories. At first, I found the models difficult to understand, but as we applied them in the design process, I started to see how they could be applied. I learned how to work with structured methods like the Triple Diamond and apply user research to change user's attitudes to gradually change their behaviours over time.
