I DESIGN
(EXPERIENCES)
AND SPACES
<INDUSTRIAL
DESIGNER>
<ARCHITECT ENGINEER>
"I design not only to address today’s challenges, but to shape a future where the built environment seamlessly connect to enrich everyday life."
I studied Architecture Engineering in the
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece
From studying architecture, I gained a broad range of practical, technical, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong foundation in design thinking. The discipline provided me with the freedom to experiment, explore, and apply creative solutions in a structured and meaningful way.

During my academic training, I gained knowledge in art and architectural history, as well as engineering courses from various departments, including fire safety, electromechanical systems, concrete construction, structural analysis, topography, and others.

I gained proficiency in 2D and 3D modelling and visualisation tools, and built a clear design identity grounded in a deep understanding of the built environment. My academic training included art and architectural history as well as engineering courses in fire safety, electromechanical systems, structural analysis, concrete construction, and topography.

After graduating, I worked as a freelance designer, which helped refine my professional direction and broaden my perspective.
I have worked both independently and within diverse teams under pressure, across a broad range of scales and project types. My work spans architecture, urban design, residential and public buildings, mixed-use developments, temporary structures, restoration projects, and bioclimatic design. Overall, my main focus has been on mixed-use public buildings, circular design practices, and flexible living solutions.
After completing my Integrated Master’s in Architectural Engineering, focusing on spatial and urban design across small- and large-scale projects, I developed strong design, organizational, and leadership skills. My curiosity about how products and services shape everyday experiences, combined with a desire for a user-centered and business-oriented approach, led me to Industrial Design.
Transitioning from Architecture to Industrial Design was both challenging and rewarding. Industrial Design pushed me out of my comfort zone, embracing a broader, more exploratory approach that actively involves users in the design process.
At TU/e, I focused on understanding users, society, and business, applying user-centered methods, design process frameworks, stakeholder engagement, business planning, and design analysis, skills I consider essential for every designer.
I worked on real-case scenarios, actively involving users throughout the process and developing functional prototypes. This experience helped me build a solid and holistic understanding of design across different scales, approaches, and disciplines, allowing me to view design as an interconnected whole.

Technological University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands
How do I work?

As a curious designer, I explore how nature and spatial spaces shape social experiences. My professional identity is rooted in a dual background in Architectural Engineering and Industrial Design, which informs my understanding of the relationship between people and their environments. Architecture provided a strong foundation in spatial design and creativity, while Industrial Design enhanced my focus on user experience and feasibility. This interdisciplinary perspective enables me to approach challenges holistically, creating designs that are functional, aesthetic, and responsive to user needs.
I work hands-on, prototyping and testing to ensure that my designs are both viable and impactful in real contexts.

My skills include strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and translating abstract ideas into concrete designs. I value simplicity, cohesion, and attention to detail, while exploring alternative approaches to design challenges. I work well independently, however collaboration is vital, especially in cross-disciplinary teams, where different perspectives come together to envision holistic solutions.
I value trust and transparent communication, and I approach projects as a team player, critical thinker and strategic organizer from ideation through execution.

My goal is to innovate by bridging functionality, user experience, and aesthetics to create designs that enhance daily life, foster interaction, and integrate contemporary methods while remaining grounded in real-world use and ethics. These goals support my ambition to collaborate with diverse teams in addressing contemporary challenges through a user-centered approach to create innovative, future-proof solutions.
My design approach is guided by human needs, societal trends, and a desire to connect design with social experiences. I aim to create innovative and resilient solutions that foster socially engaged communities, reimagine everyday interactions, and challenge norms that divide us. This mindset informs my process through reflection, critical thinking, and a commitment to understanding and responding to diverse users.
